Stand on paper
Heel against a wall, weight evenly on both feet, mark the tip of the longest toe.
Measure heel to toe
Measure the distance between the two marks in millimetres. Do this in the afternoon — feet swell through the day.
Read the chart
Find your measurement in the last column. At or above it, the size will wear true. Between two sizes, take the larger.
Adult last measurements
These are the production lasts used across the 45 reference styles. “Recommended foot length” is the shortest foot that fits reliably — anything above it wears true.

How do I convert my size to the Steed Sports last?
Measure the foot from heel to longest toe in millimetres and read across the adult table. If your measurement sits between two sizes, take the larger one. The column “recommended foot length” is the shortest foot length that fits the last reliably, so anything at or above it will wear true.
Are your shoes made on standard lasts or can I get a custom last?
The measurements on this page are the standard lasts used across the 45 reference styles in the Best Sellers collection. A wider or narrower last is available on request: send the target market's foot-length profile with your inquiry and we confirm the last, the mould cost and the lead time before you commit.
What is the size tolerance on a production run?
Pairs are produced to the last within a 2 mm tolerance on last length and 1 mm on palm width. In a mixed-size run we allocate against the size curve you send us, so a 500-pair run across four sizes is built to your curve rather than an even split.
Can I mix sizes within a colourway?
Yes. Every MOQ is quoted per colourway and sizes are mixed within it. There is no size-level minimum, so a single run can carry a broad size curve for one market without splitting into several runs.
What happens if the fit is wrong?
Samples are paid and can be credited against the first production order. We ship a size set before the bulk run, and we correct a fit problem at our own cost if the last we build is not the last shown on this page.
