OEM & ODM

OEM and ODM athletic footwear,
from a supplier who can open the plant.

OEM means you bring the design and we build it. ODM means we develop it with you. Either way the tooling, the lines and the quality gates sit under one campus.

Which model fits your team?
OEM vs ODM

Which model fits your team?

Most buyers start with one and drift into the other. Knowing which you are buying keeps the quotation honest.

OEM

You supply the tech pack, the last and the colour direction. We quote tooling, materials and build, then run it. Best when you have in-house design.

ODM

You supply the market position, the price target and the end use. We develop the styles with you and you select. Best when you need range fast.

Both, in sequence

Many brands run ODM styles to find what sells, then convert the winners into OEM programmes with their own tooling and IP.

The supplier

The international partner of Jiangxi BaiYing Group.

Steed Sports (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. is a Guangzhou-based OEM/ODM athletic footwear supplier. Our manufacturing partner is Jiangxi BaiYing Group, a vertically integrated footwear and apparel manufacturer in Shicheng County, Ganzhou.

The campus covers 473 mu — about 78 acres — with 480,000 m2 of floor space, 16 intelligent production lines and 68 smart stitching lines. Annual output runs to 20 million finished pairs and 10 million garments.

Because upper knitting, sole tooling, assembly and packaging sit in one place, a change late in a programme does not become a negotiation between subcontractors. More than 4,000 SKUs leave these lines each year.

The factory holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management-system certification, renewed on 12 July 2024 and valid to 16 May 2027. Market-specific test reports and buyer audits are shared under NDA.

Breathable casual shoes for summer programmes
By season

Breathable casual shoes for summer programmes.

Summer casual is where OEM engineering shows: breathability is a construction decision made across three parts of the shoe, not a material label.

Upper construction

Open-knit and engineered mesh zones placed where heat builds — midfoot and forefoot — rather than one flat mesh sheet.

Footbed & lining

Perforated or moisture-wicking footbeds and linings that move sweat away from the foot instead of trapping it under a foam slab.

Cementing & assembly

Adhesive and construction method chosen for hot-climate wear, so bonds hold through the season instead of failing at the flex point.

What buyers check next

Decide the model, then open the plant.

Buyers searching for an OEM or ODM sports shoes supplier in China are usually trying to answer two questions at once: who owns the design, and can this company actually open a factory. Steed Sports is the international partner of Jiangxi BaiYing Group, responsible for its international business. Manufacturing runs on the Jiangxi BaiYing campus — 473 mu, 480,000 m², 16 intelligent lines, 68 stitching lines, 20 million pairs and 10 million garments a year.

If you already have a tech pack, start as OEM. If you need a range first, start as ODM and convert the styles that sell. Either way, MOQ, sampling and bulk timing are confirmed per style after we see the brief — not as a number published on this page.

More buyer guides

Buyers often arrive from a clothing and shoe suppliers search and then narrow to footwear. Whichever door you come through, the first question is the same: which parts of the product are yours and which are ours. With OEM shoes you bring the design and we build to it. With ODM we bring the development and you choose from it. With private label the label is yours on a body we already run.

Show all 7 questions

Which sports categories do you cover as an OEM and ODM supplier?

+
We cover the full sports range as a sneakers OEM, athletic shoes OEM and sport shoes OEM, with ODM development across performance shoes, casual shoes and training shoes. Programmes are quoted per style, per colourway and per size, with a published MOQ starting at 600 pairs per color (mixed sizes) for existing styles (1,200 pairs per color for custom styles).

Can you make breathable casual shoes for summer programmes?

+
Yes — breathability is engineered at construction stage: open-knit and mesh zones placed where heat builds, perforated or moisture-wicking footbeds and linings, and a cementing method chosen for hot-climate wear. Tell us the climate your market sells into and we build the spec around it — see the materials guide.

What is the difference between OEM and ODM?

+
With OEM you supply the design, the tech pack and usually the last, and we manufacture to your specification. With ODM we develop the styles with you and you select from what we present. OEM gives you more control and ownership; ODM gets you to a sellable range faster.

Can you work from my tech pack?

+
Yes. Send the tech pack — or, if you do not have one yet, a reference shoe and a direction. Sampling time is confirmed per style from a tech pack, including revisions and material sourcing.

Which certifications does the factory hold?

+
ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems, renewed 12 July 2024 and valid to 16 May 2027. Market-specific test reports, buyer audits and social-compliance documents are shared under NDA — tell us your destination and we send the pack for that market.

What is your production capacity?

+
16 intelligent production lines and 68 smart stitching lines, with output of 20 million finished pairs and 10 million garments a year. That capacity is why larger programmes can be loaded as a planned run, not a one-off exception.

Where do you ship from and on what terms?

+
Port and Incoterms are confirmed per order. FOB and CIF are standard; DDP can be arranged for full-container orders. Sea transit to the EU and US is typically 25-40 days. Payment terms are confirmed with the quotation. T/T and L/C can both be discussed once style, quantity and destination are clear.

Tell us which model you need.

OEM or ODM, one style or a full range. Send the brief and we will come back with a route, a sampling date and a production window.
